About the Portage Support Hub

The Portage Regional Support Hub is an online resource of Portage Expertise offering national and regional support to anyone involved in supporting young children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families.

The development of the Portage Regional Support Hub has been funded through  a two year project between the National Portage Association (NPA) and the Department for Education (DfE), ‘to develop and sustain the Portage workforce across England.’

What the Support Hub offers

The launch of the Portage Support Hub marks the start of work to compile a comprehensive and valuable bank of resources for anyone involved or interested in all things Portage.

It will offer opportunities for Portage practitioners, early years practitioners and parents to share information, knowledge and good practice.

We hope that with your help the Hub will continue to evolve and grow over time, as practitioners and parents add to it by sharing case studies, useful links and resources, examples of good practice and participating in discussion groups.

Each time you visit the Portage Support Hub look out for what’s new as well as searching for information, guidance, news and resources.
