16 hrs a week - working pattern to be agreed
Our current Office Manager is retiring and we are looking for an effective and efficient person to fill this important post to support the work of the charity and our Board of Trustees. You will be based in our office in Hall Green, Birmingham and work alongside the Finance Officer and Administrator who both also work part time. We are able to be flexible about your weekly working pattern.
You will see from the job description the role is very varied and it does require attention to detail. It can be busy at times so you will need to be able to keep an overview of the annual timetable and plan to make sure deadlines are met. The ability to work independently and the confidence to take responsibility are also important as the Board of Trustees are there to support you but they are volunteers and all work remotely from the office.
Maintaining the content of our website is a growing part of the role and there is scope to develop the use of our new database.
It is likely that you will be covering the office alone for part of the working week meaning you need to be self-motivated and confident to deal with enquiries. We are planning a period of induction to the post.
Salary is £26k pro rata (based on a 35 hour week).
