We Need Your Support
The National Portage Association (NPA) is dedicated to ensuring Portage provision and quality across the UK and your support can genuinely make a difference.
Historically, the NPA have been fortunate to benefit from funding awarded by the Department for Education in the form of grants and/or contracts, but our income is not guaranteed from year to year which makes our fundraising activities very important.
The NPA also rely on the generosity of financial support from donors to make a real difference to the support we can provide members, services and families.
Here are some of the ways people like you can help us...
EasyFundraising
Raise funds for the NPA every time you shop online!
It’s easy to get started, all you need to do is register online with easyfundraising.org.uk
You can shop with well-known stores and each will donate a percentage of what you spend, at absolutely no additional cost to you.
The easyfundraising website offers guidance on how to set up. You can also try:
- installing the easyfundraising ‘Donation Reminder’ so that a box appears at the top of your browser screen if you are shopping with a retailer who participates. All you need to do is click ‘Activate Donations’ and any eligible purchase will be automatically registered for you.
- using the free easyfundraising App, ideal if you like to shop on the go using your mobile device.
ChariTable
Support the NPA and Book Your Next Meal Out with ChariTable.
If you book a table through ‘ChariTable’, an online philanthropic restaurant booking website, £1 per person will be donated to the NPA at no further cost to you! You just need to select the NPA as your chosen charity when you book.
ChariTable was created to fundraise for charity across the UK with around 6,590 restaurants taking part. So, there is a huge choice whether you want to go to your local or choose a restaurant for a special occasion.
You can either book online at charitablebookings.org or download the ChariTable App to your device/mobile phone. It’s really easy to do and you will be fundraising for the NPA at the touch of a button.
Just Giving

If you want to organise a sponsored event to raise funding for the NPA you can create a fundraising page via Just Giving. The NPA are subscribed to Just Giving and can receive the proceeds and any Gift Aid associated with your donation.
To request permission to use the NPA Charity Number for your event, please complete the Using the Registered Charity Number application form.
Charities Trust
If you want to organise a sponsored event you can create and customise your own page with Charities Trust. The NPA are subscribed to Charities Trust and can receive the proceeds and any Gift Aid associated with your donation.

Charities Aid Foundation
Go to the Chartities Aid Foundation website
Use an existing Charity Aid Foundation (CAF) account that you have or use CAF to donate.
If you prefer to make donations to the charities you support by paying into CAF Charity Account you can use Charity Aid Foundation to donate to the NPA too.
You can either use an existing account or set up a new one by visiting the CAF online Charity Account Page.
