The next NPA Development Day will be held on Friday 2nd March, 2018.
The theme for this event is 'Exploring Sensory Processing.'
NPA Development Days are an opportunity for pracitioners and parents to share ideas and practice, whilst also exploring the future of early years and the opportunities this presents for Portage and the NPA.
Delegates will have the opportunity to attend two stimulating seminar sessions, hear an exciting main speaker and network with friends old and new.
Joanna Grace - 'Why Sensory'
Joanna Grace is an international sensory engagement and inclusion specialist, trainer, author and founder of 'The Sensory Projects'.
In this presentation, Joanna will explore the profound impact our sensory world has on us and why working in a sensory way is so beneficial to children (and adults). Joanna will also look at 'Sensory Stories', a fabulous sensory communication resource.
Delegates will have the opportunity to choose and attend two seminars during the day, delivered by practitioners from a range of early years discuplines who will share and develop wit hus ideas and practice to enhance our own work with children.
