Kerry Bailey - Regional Project Manager (South)

In a varied professional career Kerry has worked extensively with children and families, specialising in working with children with additional needs.

She has worked both in the charity and public sector, beginning as a volunteer at the age of 16 for KIDS charity in Hull. Kerry worked in the London Borough of Southwark for 10 years as a Portage Worker and Coordinator of services and later as the Service Manager.

Whilst working in Southwark, Kerry also set up the Sibling Project which has continued to reach children, young people and families for 13 years.

More recently, Kerry worked as Childcare Manager and SENCO in a South London Children’s Centre for 3 years, supporting children and families in the West Norwood area of Lambeth. 

Kerry has delivered training to parents and professionals, loves working with children, as well as supporting families, and her work has always been underpinned by ‘Portage Principles’. So, she jumped at the chance to work for the NPA and be part of a team to develop and support Portage services.

Kerry is passionate about her work and also makes time for art, travel, cooking for friends and yoga.

Chris Breese, Office Manager  

Hello, I am Chris Breese. I joined the NPA as Office Manager in January 2014, following a career which took me from being a PA to becoming a Regional Business Manager before semi retiring and qualifying as a nursery practitioner.  

Previous experience has really helped me understand Portage, support the NPA Board and keep the office running.

My normal working days are Monday and Tuesday.

Kathleen Scoble, Finance Officer

Hi, I am Kathleen Scoble. I also joined the NPA in January 2014 as Finance Officer so Chris and I have learnt together.

I previously worked at NHS Solihull PCT and left in 2013 as part of the reorganisation.

I work in the Hall Green office on Tuesday morning, Thursday afternoon and all day on Friday.

I live locally and have two grown up children.

Ellie Lewis, Office Administrator

Hi, I am Ellie Lewis.  I joined the NPA as Offfice Administrator in June 2017 following 9 years working in varous roles for a learning disbilities charity and I am enjoying using my experience in this varied role. 

I am currently on maternity leave until January 2019 as I now have 3 small children who keep me very busy when I am not at work.  My usual working hours are 9.30 - 2.30 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
