Did you know about ‘Rosie’s Fund’?

Is your Portage Service registered with the National Portage Association (NPA)? Did you know about ‘Rosie’s Fund’?

Rosies Fund was set up following a very generous donation from parents who received Portage for their daughter Rosie. They wanted to give something back for the support they received and so set up the fund to help support parents of children with SEND.

To qualify :

  1. Rosie’s Fund is exclusively available for NPA Registered Services and NPA Stamp of Approval Settings. It cannot be used for collaborative work with other businesses. Successful grant payments will be made directly to the service.
  2. NPA Service Registration must have been paid for the current year.
  3. Grant funding is only to support parents/carers, for purposes over and above that provided by services from core funding.
  4. Funding is only for Portage-related activities and resources.
  5. Only one grant claim may be made in a 12-month period.
  6. Maximum claim of £200 per service.
  7. If your application is to use Rosie’s Fund as part of your funding towards a larger project, please provide a breakdown of the total project budget and explain how the remaining balance will be met. If this is not yet available, we may be able to pledge future funding. Applications that cannot demonstrate a realistic and achievable funding plan for the full project costs may not be considered.
  8. Recipients must provide simple proof of expenditure within 3 months of payment or project completion, such as:
  • Copy of receipts or invoices for items purchased.
  • Photos or evidence if appropriate.
  • A short statement from the service manager of how the grant was used.
