Portage and Early Years Development Day

We are very pleased to be offering another Development Day in November this year for practitioners to come together in a stimulating environment to learn and share.
Registration will be open from 10.00am and the day will close at 4.30pm.
This year’s Keynote speech Unpicking neurodiversity in pre-school children will be delivered by Andrew Ryder, there will be an opportunity to attend another 2 seminars on a range of topics and spend time networking with colleagues.
The seminars on offer are:-
- ‘The Nature of Human Communication’ Intensive interaction and supporting those individuals who are at an Early Stage of communication – delivered by Aimee Trimmer and Jenny Chapman
- Identifying sensory processing challenges and strategies for improving connection – delivered by Aniesa Blore
- Understanding Sleep and how we adapt this knowledge to children with SEND – delivered by Helen Rutherford
- Understanding and reducing difficult and dangerous behaviour in SEND children – delivered by Yvonne Newbold MBE

The cost is £130.00 + VAT for NPA members and £170 + VAT for non-members, including refreshments and lunch. (Non-members please note, membership is £35 for the year and you can join easily here

Please note that this year, seminar places will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so the earlier you book, the better chance you have of attending your 1st & 2nd choices .
