Virtual MEMBERS Meetings

Just a reminder that the next NPA Members Meeting will be held on Microsoft Teams this coming Tuesday 23rd February 2021 at 10.00am Click here to join the meeting

The meeting will last approximately one hour; as well as the usual opportunity to raise topics of interest, network and support each other, we will also be welcoming members of the Open Awards team who will be providing a brief update on the Open Awards Level 3 (The Portage Model - A Small Steps Approach to Learning for Children with Special Educational Needs).

The Board recognises that whilst many practitioners have shown an interest in undertaking the course, the cost was prohibitive to some. Therefore, as a service to members, the decision has been taken to reduce the cost of the course by more than 20% for those who enrol in 2021, from £500 to £390 per learner; it is hoped that this reduced cost will allow more to gain this very worthwhile qualification.

If there is anything specific you would like to discuss in the meeting, it is helpful if you could mention it ihere in this forum, so we can make sure it is covered

We hope you are able to join us,

Kind regards

Yvonne Hambidge

Office Manager

National Portage Association

Please note: The next NPA Members Meeting  will now be held on Tuesday 23rd February 2021 at 10.00am (re-rranged from 15/02/2021, as we realised this was half term and meant a lot of members could not attend)

Apologies for any confusion caused (particularly as the email to amend the date initially stated that 23rd was on Monday, rather than Tuesday). You should all now have received an email confirming the correct date as above.

You can join on your computer or mobile app. If you do not have the Teams app, you can still join the meeting on your internet browser, just follow the link below

The meeting will last approximately one hour; there is no set agenda for the meeting, just a chance to network and support each other.

However, if there is anything specific you would like to discuss, it would be helpful if you could  raise it here, in this forum thread prior to the meeting

Many thanks

(NPA Office Manager)
